i was with him for almost a year 2 years ago he moved away and them came back and told me he wants it to work this time. i really love him. i guess i can wait for him to ask me. if he takes to long ill ask him. LOL.

Depends on the relationship and the guy. If he's kinda macho, he won't like it. If he's not sure of the relationship, he may get scared and back out completely. If the girl is absolutely sure he's interested, and he's laid back, maybe it would be ok. It might be safer to just ask him what he thinks of marriage - then you'll find out if he's at all interested in it. If he is, you could ask if he ever thought about the 2 of you getting married.

Yes, of course it is! For some guys, they might think that it's like the girl stripped them on their manliness because the girl asked.. but for some, it's going to be something pretty cool, and speaks deeply of the girl's feelings. I think, depending on how the girl asks.. it could be an absolutely endearing and adorable sight... :)

Although its unorthodox, there's no laws or rules against it. There's just this old-age tradition of guys usually being the ones to propose. But lately as women have gained strength, they are taking more charge, which includes proposing.
I see no harm in doing so. Hypothetically, if my gf proposed to me, I wouldn't object to it.
Tiny: How can you force someone into marriage? No one is under any obligation to marry someone that they do not wish to marry unless its arranged.

It's very unusual for a woman to ask a man to marry them, however, it is o.k.
In fact, men like it when women take control in a relationship
so be brave and ask him, just be sure that marriage is what you
and your guy want.

YES!! TO ME IT'S NOTHING WRONG FOR THE GIRL TO ASK THE GUY TO MARRY HER BECAUSE JUST BECAUSE IT MAY SEEM THAT THE GUY SUPPOSE TO ASK THE GIRL ALL THE TIME THE GIRL MAY HAVE AS MUCH AS THE SAME POWER OR LOVE AS THE BOYS DOES TOO!

Not many people do it but it has happened many times. If you think he's the right guy then go for it because if he hasn't done it yet then it may be that he's just really nervous and hasn't done it yet.

Never do that.Proposal should come from the men first.Mans mentality is of fragile nature. If he is not ready it is not safe to propose him. Give time to make his mind.

My friend did and I think it was a bad choice. She was forcing him into it. Depend on the relationship I guess.
