Proof of God, Jesus or any higher power?

Question

I want to believe so badly, but when weighing the facts I always seem to come up on the non-believers side...

Can anyone give me some information that can help to get me to God's side?

If you insist on proof, or even evidence, you're going to either have to lie to yourself, or stay on the nonbelievers' side (hey, it's not so bad over here!).

However, you can choose to believe on the basis of pure faith if you'd like. That means your belief will be purely personal - you'll have no basis for insisting that others share it - but you'll be acting honestly, and still be able to believe in God.

There's your options. Think about it.

My dear, it is not all that difficult. It all boils down to one of two things. You either believe that everything and I mean everything in the physical realm created itself or someone from some other realm created it.

I prefer the Creator model. Nothing disproves the existance of a Creator. Evolution? The Creator created evolution. Big Bang Cosmic Egg theory? The Creator created the Cosmic Egg.

Whether or not any religion has anything to do with the Creator, whether the God of the Bible is the actual Creator or if the Creator is even higher up on the food chain is not only unknown but to us it is unknowable. No science can prove or disprove the existance of God.

You must choose for yourself. Just remember something very important that most Americans do not realize. America's system of government is based on a belief in God. You need not belong to any religion but you must believe in God.

All of our rights come from the Creator. That protects those rights from being taken away. They do not come from any government they cannot be taken away by any government. This is the basic foundation for all liberty in America. By believeing in God, we place God above the government.

Socialism needs to destroy that belief. They do not want anyone to believe in the moral absolutism a belief in God brings. They need all of us to accept the concept of secular humanism or moral relativism. This will allow a socialist government to do whatever it pleases without restraint. Something only a Godless society can get away with.

Atheists claim that God should prove himself. Truth is.. he already has. He sent Jesus as proof. But even then there were non-believers as there still is today. Jesus is God's proof. He's as real as Christopher Columbus.

He was a very wise man. Either he told the truth or died for his lies.... what do you think? Was his lies worth dying for?

Also, all this existence didn't come from nothing. I don't care what you try to explain... something had to be created. A molecule doesn't just exist from nowhere. A cell, dust, DNA, whatever it is you try to explain that started all of this had to come from somewhere. Also, how could that one little thing create such different and millions of other things? The Universe? Water... fire... how did this one thing create so many different aspects of life? Gravity, inertia.. etc. etc...?

If you want to believe then it is very simple just go into your quite place and pray to the God you understand because some other persons God may not do what you need.

God can not say no and he will hear and accept anything from you if you believe what you are saying is genuine and true .

In prayer above all things be honest with yourself and then you may find God maybe be able to help you through the phase you need him for.

There is a power but it works from within not from outside of you.

Sounds like you may be independent enough to not believe.
after children leave their parents, they search for something older, wiser, and stronger to protect them, most turn to the heavens and project an image of some over seeing parent. They then use this image to invoke strength in them that they wouldn't have alone. They pray to find answers that they already have, and reason that everything happens for a reason.
The reality of the situation is that belief in a higher power is a mental illness that should be addressed and eliminated for humans to move on. People who talk to walls and bow in the streets are considered crazy and locked up while in our own communities we support death and murder in the name of righteousness.
Your best bet is stay the course and don't fall for the church/god propaganda.

It's your choice... just dont' look at God as a burden, i don't understand how believing is such a problem? Is it you just don't wanna get mocked anymore? If that's the case then stop believing by all means. But as far as i'm concerned God can only make my life better and offer me strength and i don't even have to do anything in return except for pray.

If you beleive in god without asking for proof, then you r a true beleiver. But just try to read the bible(concentrate while reading) and try to beleive it with your heart! And pray to god!!

You find yourself drifting over to the unbelieving side because you lack faith.

There are many things that help grow you closer to God, prayer, church, reading the Bible. You need to start exposing yourself to them one by one and allow Gods message to get through and perhaps you may find faith.

Why do you cling to the opposite conslusion from the one pointed to by the facts? Take off the blindfold and live your life... the one that you have here on earth. After that you will sleep forever.

Jesus, was foretold and full filled prophesy many 560 something, such as where he was to be born,being the seed of David,being resurrected, crucified,not a bone broken which was common practice for those crucified and on and on.Pray for a strengthening of faith and direction.
