The Shroud is not in color. How do you speculate as fact that the eyes, which are covered with coins, are blue.? Or the hair blond? The facial features depicted are consistent with 1st Cent Palestinian Jewish range.. The hair style seems to fall into what was considered acceptable for the time and place.
Jesus was Mediterranean Jewish not Swedish. Tak

Sure. There is theory that Jesus' father was a roman soldier named Tiberius Iulius Abdes Pantera is Jesus' biological father, so Jesus could have blond hair blue eyes from his roman dad.
The alleged connection to Jesus derives from the interpretation of the writings of Celsus, an anti-Christian Greek philosopher quoted by Origen in Contra Celsum. According to Origen, Celsus wrote:
when she (Mary) was pregnant she was turned out of doors by the carpenter to whom she had been betrothed, as having been guilty of adultery, and that she bore a child to a certain soldier named Panthera.

None. Check a map to where present-day Ethiopia is and travel North. Jesus was born, walked and died along this route and could NOT have been as most often depicted in America, with blue eyes and blond hair. Also, check the statue of the Virgin Mother and Child used by the Pope in Rome; it's as Black as the ace of spades.

What i think of should not be important. it ought to be that the shroud is a hoax, it ought to be that the hot version of it became additionally a hoax. what's a actuality is that Christ got here down from heaven and died for our sins so as that we'd be stored. particularly of attempting to defy that, perchance our lives may well be crammed in peace if we observed his teachings and enjoyed and served one yet another. If he became blond or blue eyed is relatively beside the point. seek for techniques that make your faith extra advantageous.

I highly doubt that. I think he would have looked like everyone else in Isreal at that time and people of that region are most certainly not blond, caucians with blue eyes.

I doubt it. Where Jesus was born is near the equator, and the people there were very dark-skinned. It might be possible, but it's not probable.

I say no. I don't see how that is in any way possible. Besides, then He would have stuck out. His followers followed Him because of His words and works, not looks.
