How old is he? If he's still young enough (under 1 year) you can get him castrated. If you don't wish to do that get him a stuffed animal to hump on. I have that for my chihuahua because he always enjoyed humping on people's legs. The stuffed animal is a cat almost twice his size, but he adores her!

i would say neutering but that is not always the case my mom had her yorkie neutered and he still humps a toy he has and she does not know what to do either . I think it depends on when you have them neutered . if before 6 months I dont think they do it anymore . good luck .

You just have to pull him off of the object and eventually he will stop. After a week or two, he'll probably stop anyway. That's what happened with both of my dogs.

Have him neutered. When he is neutered and still does it on occasion, it is a dominance issue.YOu are the boss not him.Remember that and he will be a good dog and you will be a good leader.

*LOL* Ours did the same thing for a short time. I can only say that "Sasha" stop after a short time. When she would do it, we would imediately redirect her attention to something else, with a stern, "No!."

Good luck.

Your dog is probably try to domanate this object of he does it to your leg or other part of your body. He could be trying to dominate you, show him that your boss.
