I only watched the first and the last season of the show, so I don´t know if anyone remembered the mother of Sandy cohen who had cancer, did she die? what happened to her? was she forgotten?
in the same episode they talk about sandy's brother and sister, were they mentioned again?

I don't remember anything after Sandy confronted Nana's new bf (about being a gold digger), including if he or she died.
And Sandy's sibs were never mentioned again, as far as I know, including the finale (odd they wouldn't be there for all the weddings / birth, etc/)!

Sandy's the end all be all of good people. He's a loving father and husband, and always crusades for the little guy. He's pretty liberal, but not acerbically so. I wish I identified with Sandy, but I'm more of a Seth/Taylor hybrid. Yeah, I watch "The O.C.". No, I'm not gay.

As fas as me know, Sandy's mother didn't die, but it's sort of weird that she didn't show up for the christnening of the baby or the wedding at the end. Sandy's siblings havn't been mentioned since either. You should really try and watch series 2 and 3, they're great. Hope it helps :)
