Hot Pizza Dip

"All your favorite pizza ingredients in a hot dip made in the microwave. Serve with sliced French baguette bread."

Original recipe yield:
16 servings

PREP TIME 10 Min
COOK TIME 5 Min
READY IN 15 Min

INGREDIENTS
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup pizza sauce
2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper
2 ounces pepperoni sausage, chopped
2 tablespoons sliced black olives

DIRECTIONS
In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese, oregano, parsley, and basil.
Spread mixture in the bottom of a 9 inch pie plate, or a shallow microwave-safe dish. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup of the Parmesan cheese on top of the cream cheese mixture. Spread the pizza sauce over all. Sprinkle with remaining cheese, then top with green pepper, pepperoni and olive slices. Cover, and microwave for 5 minutes. Serve hot.

A great make ahead appetizer--just layer ground beef with cream cheese, sour cream, tomatoes, and cheese and other favorite enchilada toppings.



Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 envelope taco mix
1 tbsp water
1 8 oz cream cheese
2 cups light sour cream
1 package ranch dressing mix
1 cup tomatoes, diced
1/2 cup jalapenos, optional
1/2 cup onion chopped fine
1 jar taco sauce, hot or medium
1-1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheeseTaco chips

Method
Brown ground beef and drain. Mix in taco mix and water. Pour into 12 x 6 rectangle pan or 2-3 casserole dishes and spread evenly. Pour tomatoes, onions and jalapenos evenly over ground beef. Soften and mix together cream cheese, sour cream and dry ranch dressing mix. Evenly pour mixture over vegetables. Pour taco sauce over all and cover with tin foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes until bubbly. Remove foil and sprinkle sharp cheddar cheese over top and let melt. Remove from oven and let set for 15 minutes. Serve warm, not hot, with taco chips. This can be made ahead and refrigerated--just reheat when needed.

Margarita Dessert Dip with Cinnamon Chips


1 C. sour cream
8 oz. mascarpone cheese
1/2 C. granulated sugar
1/3 C. margarita mix
1 T. lime zest
2 T. tequila
1 T. grand marnier
1 C. whipping cream

In an electric mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mascarpone cheese, sugar, Lone Star Grill Margarita Mix, lime zest, tequila and grand marnier. Beat until smooth. Whip cream and fold into sour cream mixture. Place in serving bowl. Garnish with additional lime zest. Serve with cinnamon tortilla crisps.

Cinnamon Tortilla Crisps

2 T. granulated sugar
1 t. ground cinnamon
8 (8-inch) flour tortillas
6 T. butter, melted

In a small bowl combine sugar and cinnamon, set aside. Brush tortillas with melted butter. Cut each into 8 wedges. Arrange in single layer on baking sheet. Lightly sprinkle cinnamon mixture over. Bake in preheated 400° F. oven for 4-6 minutes. Can be made ahead and keep in air tight container.

9 LAYER TACO DIP

1. In a glass dish (about 13"x9") spread one can of Frito Lay Bean Dip.
2. Spread 1 cup mayonnaise over dip.

3. Spread 8 ounces sour cream over the mayo.

4. Sprinkle 1 package of taco seasoning mix over the sour cream.

5. Chop two bunches of green onions (tops included) and sprinkle over the seasoning mix.

6. Shred 8 ounces white cheddar cheese and sprinkle on top.

7. Shred 8 ounces Monterey Jack cheese and layer over cheddar cheese.

8. Chop 3 tomatoes and use as next layer.

9. Chop one can of pitted black olives and use as final layer.

Best if made a day before. Refrigerate. Serve with taco chips or corn chips for dipping. Watch it disappear.

Sí Sí Cilantro™ Spicy Dip Mix Preparation


Ingredients
1 1/2 Tbsp. Sí Sí Cilantro™ Spicy Dip Mix
1/2 cup mayonnaise (real mayonnaise only)
1/2 cup sour cream

Directions
Combine ingredients; blend well. Chill 2 hours. Makes about 1 cup dip.

BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP

INGREDIENTS
2 (10 ounce) cans chunk chicken, drained
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup Ranch dressing
3/4 cup pepper sauce, such as Franks® Red Hot®
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 bunch celery, cleaned and cut into 4 inch pieces
1 (8 ounce) box chicken-flavored crackers

DIRECTIONS
Heat chicken and hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat, until heated through. Stir in cream cheese and ranch dressing. Cook, stirring until well blended and warm. Mix in half of the shredded cheese, and transfer the mixture to a slow cooker. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top, cover, and cook on Low setting until hot and bubbly. Serve with celery sticks and crackers.


SHRIMP DIP

1 can shrimp (4-6 oz.), diced
1 3-4 oz package cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup chili sauce
2 teaspoons grated horseradish
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon fresh dill, minced
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Mix all ingredients together well, adding the shrimp last.
Chill at least two hours or overnight.

Serve with crackers, Tostitos, toasted bread rounds or chips.


ITALIANO FONDUE

1 lb lean ground beef
8 oz mozzarella cheese
1 envelope spaghetti sauce mix
2 15 oz cans tomato sauce
2 tb cornstarch
1 lb sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 c dry red wine

In a skillet cook beef until crumbly; pour off excess fat. In crock- pot, combine beef with dry spaghetti sauce mix, tomato sauce, and cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours. Dissolve cornstarch in the wine. Turn control to high. Add dissolved cornstarch. Heat on high for 10 to 15 minutes. Dip chunks of Italian bread into the fondue while keeping the mixture hot in the crock-pot.

YUMMY HOT CRAB DIP
2 cans (6 oz. each) crabmeat, drained, picked through
1 cup chopped red peppers (about 1 medium)
1/3 cup sliced green onions (about 3 medium)
3/4 cup Mayonaise
1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese



PREHEAT oven to 375°F. Combine all ingredients.
SPOON into 9-inch pie plate lightly sprayed with cooking spray.
BAKE 20 to 25 min. or until hot and bubbly. Serve with bread, assorted crackers and/or cut-up fresh vegetables.

INGREDIENTS
1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed

DIRECTIONS
In a medium size serving bowl, mix together marshmallow creme, cream cheese, and orange juice. Refrigerate and serve chilled.

16 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (13.5 ounce) package nacho-flavor tortilla chips

Crab Dip
INGREDIENTS
3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup white wine
2 (6 ounce) cans crab meat, drained
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 pinch seasoning salt
1 dash garlic powder
1 pinch onion powder
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
DIRECTIONS
In a double boiler, melt cream cheese with mayonnaise. Stir in white wine. Mix in crab meat, mustard, seasoning salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Heat until entire mixture in warm, stirring occasionally. Thin the mixture with more white wine if you would like your dip's consistency to be thinner.

do a taco dip. all it takes is a container of sour cream and a package of taco seasoning mix. you mix it up together and you can use fritos or tortilla chips to dip the chips in. tastes pretty good.

add some minced fresh dill and cilantro to taste
mix on high in a mixer or food processor
let it marinate for 24 hours for best results

get some Cesar salad dressing in a bottle. Add one package of cream cheese. Quick, easy and YUMMY. For some sparkle depending on the crowd you can cut up some green onion tops to add some color. Bigger bottle obviously needs bigger amount of cream cheese.

ARTICHOKE DIP

INGREDIENTS:
1 can artichoke hearts, drained, about 14 to 15 ounces
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1/3 cup mayonnaise
juice of 1/2 lemon, about 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
4 slices bacon, cooked, drained, crumbled
salt and pepper, to taste
PREPARATION:
Drain and mash the artichoke hearts; combine well with the onion, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and cayenne. Add the crumbled bacon to the artichoke mixture. Taste and add salt and pepper as desired. Chill before serving.

Makes about 1 1/2 cups.

AVACODO DIP
This avocado dip recipe is delicious with tortilla chips or vegetable dippers. Ingredients include avocados, sour cream, tomatoes, green onions, lemon juice, and hot pepper sauce.

16 ounces sour cream
2 tomatoes, cored, seeds removed, coarsely chopped
