So I just got a yes from a girl I liked last night (I asked during the fireworks, I fealt so cool =p) but upon returning home, a friend of hers told me that she's the type to have a week-long relationship...I'm more of a multi-monther in the past. People tell me that I know how to treat girls well, but is that gonna be enough to make this last? Please help!!!

Hey, you got THAT far! Take it!

If you're as great a guy as you're implying, you need to get yourself into thinking that maybe YOU are The One who turns this girl's life around. She hasn't had any desire to have relationships more than a week, but maybe that's only because she hasn't met the right guy. You need to BE that right guy.

If it doesn't work out, you can't feel disappointed because you didn't try. :P

Hello Rising Rocker :
You really do have girl troubles !
You've met some chick that looks really good to you and you hear from a personal friend that she's practically a one-night stand !
This is gonna take a lot of patience.
Don't get a blown-up head about your ability to treat the ladies well.
Go out on your date with her. But, you've got a big decision to make.
Just play it cool and have some fun on a date
OR
Find a quiet place where the 2 of you can talk alone. Then, you'll have to open up to her about your feelings. Let her know that you think she's the best thing you've ever seen and you want this relationship to grow and last more than one week ! Ask her how she feels about you.
Let her know that you want to see her again. Show that you're interested.
If she seems cold ... let her go her own way. You're only going experience a broken heart if you pursue her.
You deserve a 'Two Thumbs Up !' for being forward enough to ask her out. Shyness never accomplishes anything !

First: remain calm. Going to pieces in an emergency is always the immediate thing to avoid.

Next: don't worry about what this girl may or may not do. Just make sure you are on your own game at all times.

Next: remember that you can do everything right and still wind up wrong.

In other words, don't even try to follow the logic of women. You can't second-guess them or predict what they will do.

They're always lost in a mishmash of shifting feelings, urges, and whims. They're completely inconsistent and hare-brained, they don't know whether they're coming or going.

So it's better to understand that *whatever* you do, you will not be able to build something lasting with a young girl like this. They're at the extreme peak of flightiness in their late teens/early twenties.

The bottom line is always to make sure you get your jollies and then, be prepared to move on. Find 'em, f_ck 'em, and forget 'em!! Next!!

Well from a female perspective I say go for it. Maybe she hasn't found someone she liked enough to stay in a long relationship with. The way I see it, go out. If you both have a good time before you know it you may end up working your way in to a multi-month relationship with her.

You've gotta win her over guy! Most girls desire something real and fulfilling. Not sure how old you are, but you sound sort of young. Just go for it. If your a gentlemen, fun to be around, and sweet she'll problem fall head over heels. If shes kinda into the fun of life and nothing major prepare urself before you fall in love. Either way, there is no prediction. Just preparation!

if you treat her right, and if she likes you, then she will want to have a longer relationship. if it is only a week long relationship, then shes just missing out on (what sounds like) a really great guy. i guess that pretty much all i can add to this but i wish you the best of luck!

Maybe she keeps changin boyfriends weekly because she doesnt know that things can stay fresh and new past a week,. Maybe she eralizes hse doesnt like that guy after a week. But you should show her that it can stay new, and exciting. Maybe if you are a gentlemen shell see that your a nice guy and that in a week shell still be hanging on to your every word.

hi,
I'll be honest girls like the treat em mean keep em keen thing even if they so they don't. it's a tough one but if she likes to mess around a bit play her at her own game and she will want you more. you know if you do all that romantic stuff it will send her running ( she sounds the type).
I think its fantastic that you treat girls well, but some girls want to be messed around they like to be challenged.
hope this helps have fun

If you like the girl and are confident that this will work out then what are you doing listening to what others say? Give it try, Nothing ventured, nothing gained right?
