yahoo answers discriminates against people depending on the direction of the wind at the moment. Sadly, they dont even tell WHY something is a violation...
There was an article @ cnet about the moodiness and inconsistency of yahoo answers staff...but last time I checked the link...cnet removed the article
Anyway..dont take it personally... :)

EDIT: Har Har@ Galaxy...like xians are discriminated against in a xian society....u need to get past your victim mentality

They might have had a legitimate reason to delete it. Maybe if you divulged a few details, we might be able to decide if it was actually due to discrimination. Not every question is appropriate, and just because it had to do with religion does not automatically make it discriminatory.

Though to answer your actual question, no I didn't know.

Darling, you are far from the only one. Didn't you know that it seems they never actually look at the complaint violations, just deal with you based on how many complaints you get?

I got five in 48 hours, and four were unjustified - my answers were quite fine. Yet I'm starting over. That'll teach me for having business contacts and such on the name I use for in here. Yes, I lost my whole account.

Yes, I am appealing it, but I doubt it will do much good.

Just another example of the media's war on Christianity. I'm kidding of course, Christians like being called out, makes them feel more righteous.

Happened to me, too. Sucks, but, that's life. You win some and you lose some. Cheer up. It's all on the wheel. What goes around comes around.

As creator and ruler of the Yahooverse, they have every right to do whatever they please. Now here's the irony of it: Don't religious folks think exactly that way about their deity? Why don't THEY complain about it?

Because it would do about as much good as complaining to the One True Yahoo, that's why - maybe even less.

i could have enjoyed wikipedia and google so plenty greater. in spite of what Yahoo! could want to think of, Y! solutions is greater approximately socializing than offering precise solutions to questions. i could estimate that 80% of the stuff written right here is idiotic nonsense, or purely incorrect. (ninety 9% in R&S)

Sorry but they own the site and can delete whatever they want to. Your question most likely was offensive.

I think you need to understand what the term "discrimination" actually means before throwing it around.

If your question violated their community guidelines, they have every right to delete it. They spell it out pretty clearly when you sign up, and they are posted everywhere.

It will fall upon deaf ears. Try to reword the question. Put a lot of it in additional details. It takes them longer to remove this way.
