Always dress one level above the people who work at the company. At Staples they wear uniforms if I'm not mistaken so wear something business casual. Khakis and a dress shirt or polo for men and maybe a sports jacket if you feel the need. Its not necessary.

The rule of thumb for any job interview is to dress at least one step above the way the people are dressed. For example, at Staples, they are considered casual. They are neat and they are uniform for the most part.
You can wear a pair of slacks and a nice top, but a suit doesn't hurt either. Especially if you really want the job and you want to differentiate yourself from the other candidates.
Lastly, don't come in the latest fade to express your individuality. Conservative, no jeans, no tight clothes, no t-shirts. You can find professional, conservative attire that will not distract the hiring manager while they are speaking to you about the position.

Quite coincidentally, I also have an interview at staples today for a part time job for the summer. I mean, just casual formal is OK. Try not to overdress, mabye some casual kakhi's and a polo shirt. Make sure your clothes are straight and tidy (as in you ironed them). You don't have to be "tuxedo" formal, but make sure your clothes aren't dirty or crinkled. Crinkled clothes=laziness=bad impression

Can't overdress for an interview. Okay maybe a tux would be too much but I'd throw on a pair of khacki's and shirt AND tie.
First impressions are everything at interviews. If you can distinguish yourself above all the other applicants BEFORE you even open your mouth, you're in good shape.

How much do you want the job? Dress the part!! If you just want a part-time job then wear what they wear part-time (khakis and a polo). But if you want the opportunity to move to management then dress like a manager!!

Just wear some freshly ironed khakis and a collared shirt tucked in, not too fancy, not to casual, good luck! : )

Steal one of their red uniform shirts, and ask them, "Looks good, huh?!?!"
