Wearing "ghost" robes and forming a circle around a burning cross sounds like it could be a satanic ritual.

I don't know of any other christians who burn crosses and call themselves Wizards and Dragons.

I thought christians are supposed to oppose witchcraft because it is of "satan" to them.

I know the ghost robes started as resembling the ghosts of fallen confederate soldiers.. Never understood the cross burning.. I really havent paid them much mind, they are pathetic... Also I dont consider a person a Christian just because they claim to share some of those beliefs

KKK is Satanic. In numerology, KKK = 6. Burning the cross is evil as the cross symbolizes Christ. They pretend to be Christian in order to tempt people away from Christ.

No, the KKK doesn't have any Satanic roots. An inverted cross might have Satanic implications, but the Klan uses a regular cross. The robes aren't meant to be "ghostly" - many secret societies and religions favor robes as the appropriate attire for their rituals, and the hoods are handy to cover the coward's identities so they don't have to face public retribution for the horrors they commit.
C'mon, Catholic priests wear robes and light candles, does that mean they are witches? Of course not.

if you want to have satanic, but seriously, they're very uninformed as far as the nature of the soul. That's really all that's wrong with anyone. Once you understand how the soul functions and how existence functions, then you want to follow those laws, the same way you want to follow the laws of gravity. People only do destructive things out of a lack of knowledge about how things work. Nobody would deliberately hurt themselves knowingly.

No.

In fact, they are deeply entrenched in a particularly racist and conservative version of christianity, the "Christian Identity Movement". They often ally themselves with similair religious and ideological groups for mutual financial and morale support. The KKK slid into obscurity by the second World War, but was revitalized in the mid 1950's as a reaction to enforced racial integration in the southern US.

Some beliefs held in common by many Christian Identity (CI) groups are:

A) A very conservative interpretation of the Christian Bible. This has led to a hatred of homosexuality and of homosexuals and a rejection of followers of other religions.
B) A view of the white race, the "Adamic race" or "True Israelites" as superior. Other races are the "Satanic spawn" of Cain. This leads naturally to a hatred of Blacks, Native Americans, and immigrants from "non-Aryan" lands
C) That Adam and Eve were white. Many other "pre-Adamic" and non-white people were already in existence when Adam was created. This leads to the belief that Anglo-Saxon Protestants are the "true identity" of God's chosen people of the Hebrew Scriptures. Non-whites are considered sub-human. These Biblical beliefs confirm their concept of white racial superiority. As a minimum, they call for racial separation; some call for extermination of what the call the "mud races" (non-white races).
D) That the Commandment which forbids adultery does not refer to extra-marital sexual relationships. Rather, it forbids "racial adultery"; i.e. inter-racial marriages. Their reasoning is that the 10th Commandment which forbids coveting one's neighbor's possessions already bans adultery; one of those "possessions" is the neighbor's wife. And, God would not have repeated Himself.
E) They consider themselves to be the direct descendants Adam's son Abel and thus are God's chosen people. They regard the Jewish people as having descended from Cain. Thus the Jewish belief that they are the chosen people is invalid. This has led to an extreme anti-Semitism within the Christian Identity movement.

I am a Christian, and I think the KKK is Satanic/evil

I live in southeast GA, and I abhor it. No one who is truly a Christian would be in this group.

Way back in the past, when the group was formed, it may have been comprised of nothing but Christians, but this is not the case today, I would hope. I was unaware that this group was still active.

Just saw the website, They CLAIM to be Christian. That's disgusting to me.

Surely people will not judge ALL Christians based upon the ones who are in this hate group. That's very unfair. You cannot say that ALL Christians feel like this, and you cannot use this group to condemn all Christians.

It seems like it, but did you know that the type of robes they wear are the same that used to be worn by Ukranian priests? The KKK adopted them, added the face mask and perverted the intent.

KKK members are proudly Christians - and they will hurt you for suggesting otherwise to their faces. Exceedingly intolerant, but Christians all the same.

They might think they are Christian's but they have no understanding of who Christ is or what His message is. Like so many, they twist the Holy Word to justify their own actions and intentions. Jesus doesn't preach hate, Satan does. Satan is most definitely influencing them.

Well of course they don't believe they are Satanic, but hey, that has never stopped anyone from being an evil idiot and doing the bidding of Satan, has it?
