The equivalent of Conservative Judaism in the UK would be Masorti Judaism.
While they are more traditional then Conservative Synagogues in the US the ideology is very close. In the same vein Reform in the UK is also more traditional so that might be closer to what you want.

There is an organisation of synagogues in Britain that identify themselves as being "Conservative", called Masorti. They have several synagogues in London, including the "North London" (actually near the centre of town) and "New North London" (in Finchley).
However you might find that Reform synagogues are closer to what you're used to in the USA. Reform in the UK is a lot more traditional than the US version, and many US Conservative rabbis have joined UK Reform synagogues. See http://www.reformjudaism.org.uk for a list of congregations in London.

If you want something more liberal than Masorti (as Gratvol says), Reform Judaism is called Progressive Judaism in the U.K. and in Israel.

There used to be a Progressive Synagogue in St. John's Wood - I guess it is still there.

Is there a synagogue in London? No, and bears don't crap in the forest.
