Ok...yesterday, I was having a full blown anxiety attack. I usually take Ativan for my aanxiety, but I had just run out the night before. The pharmacy wasn't open to get the refil because of the 4th of July. My body was twitching, I was having cold sweats, I was all tingly....and I just had urges to run around and scream (but I didn't) My whole life felt like it was falling apart. Soooo...I was at my in-laws for the BBQ. I took 2 benadryl tablets, drank about 1/2 bottle of Nyquil, 1/4 bottle of Tylenol cool rush nightime stuff, and my mom-in-laws codeine (about 3 Tablespoons). All these meds mad me really really sleepy, but the anxiety was still there. I still couldn't sleep because I was going crazy in the inside. When I got home, I took 2 Ativans, then 2 more, then 1 last one. I finally went to sleep at 5:30pm and never woke up until 9am this morning. Now, I feel like I am high. Like I am in a daze. I feel like the world is in slow motion and so I am. What did I do?? What should I do

You took too many pills to slow down your system. I'm a little surprised that you even woke up when you did. Since you're awake and on Yahoo, I don't think you need an ambulance. You're pretty hungover though. Drink lots of water and eat a small meal, and don't do that again. If the benadryl doesn't work, you probably just need to wait for your meds. And please don't take too much Ativan. It is addicting and can cause heart problems. I don't know what the dosage on your tablets is, but 5 sounds like too many for one evening.

Uh...you said you couldn't get your Ativan( and you were all out of it) because the pharmacy was closed, yet when you got home, you managed to take three...
If indeed you managed to ingest all you said (including the Antivan you were supposedly out of)...you may be lucky you even woke up this morning...You have way over-medicated yourself...although too late now to go the Dr or ER about it (your body has already started breaking down all you took)...I would be aware that should you begin to experience worsening symptoms, a trip to the ER is in order...and please..for your sake and theirs..be HONEST about all you have taken...they can't help you if you're not straight with them. And, don't EVER take so much stuff again!
NOT SMART, hon!

what you did was behave in an incredibly stupid fashion. You put all that crap into your body, and now you will have to live the consequences. Anxiety attacks are caused by aderenaline, and adrenaline is self limiting, an attack will never last more than 15 to 20 minutes, so had you just relaxed and let it pass you would likely have been just fine. But noooo, you had to put a dangerous amount of tylenol in your body from the nyquil and from the tylenol liquid, you can shut down your liver doing that....frankly you are lucky you woke up at all. You should go to your doctor, have him do a tox screen and a liver function screen, you could be toxic from liver failure after all that tylenol.

get off the ativan , it sucks.
Get Xanax. it works within minutes. You dont have to take it everyday. it is great. I have used it for years with never a bad episode. You only have to take it when you feel you cant handle your anxiety level on your own, but first you try. Then you take one xanax and within 2-3 minutes you are fine.

Call your pharmacist (or one that is currently open) or Poison Control. They always give great advice.
