Weight loss will be much tougher now than it was before, but still very possible.
First off, do the little things. Walk/bike instead of driving. Take the stairs. So simple but they make a huge difference.
Eliminate all unhealthy food from your house and don't bring money to work, pack your lunch. This way you won't be tempted to go buy a snack. Drink water when you are hungry, hunger can be eliminated with a glass of water. Also, you can brush you teeth when your hungry.
At this point you will need to start using weights (if you haven't already). This will tone your body. Don't be alarmed if you don't lose a lot of weight (since muscle weighs more than fat) you will look and feel better. My advice get a personal trainer.
Do cardio (walking, jogging, biking) at least 3 times a week and for more than 20 minutes ( I would suggest 40-60mins). If you work out for less than 20 minutes your body will not acknowledge that you have worked out. You also have to increase the intensity and duration as you progress. If you run 20 minutes at the same pace for 3 weeks, you are not going to lose weight...this will only help you maintain your current weight. You always have to increase intensity and duration if you want to notice a difference.
Hope this helps.

It sounds like you have plateaued. Sometimes you have to trick your body by playing games with it. This means sometimes you have to go up a little to go down. You say you have lost almost 50lbs now. That is great by the way. And you wont to loose 30lbs more. You don't say anything about exercising. That would be the next logical thing to try to lose that extra 30lbs. However, exercising will cause you to gain weight temporarily. That is because, if your body is not used to exercise it will start holding water. That will only last a about a month though until you body gets used to the exercise. Also if you are exercising you will be gaining muscle which weighs more than fat. So don't go by weight per se. Go by how you look and how your clothes fit. Losing 30lbs of fat by December is totally plausable. Just start a work regiment. That means getting some cardio in i.e. running, walking, exercise biking, eliptical machines, aerobics class etc... Also include some weight lifting if you can. Weight lifting will tone up your body and give you some added strength. Plus adding muscle will help your metabolism. It helps your metabolism because muscle consumes calories and the more muscle you have the more calories you will burn even when not exercising. But, like I said you body weight will go up for a time. Don't worry about that. You body will be adding muscle and it will be holding water. Go by how you feel and how your clothes fit as opposed to how much you weigh. Take care and good luck dropping those extra 30lbs of fat. I don't think you will have a problem getting there.

First of all you don't mention how tall you are. If you are 5'10", you are probably in decent shape and shouldn't lose 30 lbs. If you are 5'0", you definitely should.
Bump up your activity. Walk or run or some other aerobic exercise for 30 min to an hour each day if you don't already do so. Do it during your lunch break. I live in the deep South, so I have to either do it early in the morning before work or in the evening after 7 pm.
Try weightlifting or other weight training exercises. You will build up muscle and lose unwanted fat. You will also have much more energy.
You say you watch what you eat, but do you watch what you drink? Cut out sugary drinks and sodas if you haven't done so already.
Also, focus on your fitness rather than your weight. If you put on muscle weight, you will naturally weigh more than someone the same height who does not exercise, even if you are both thin.

Well congrats on your current weight loss to date ...maybe the reason your weight loss it at a stand still is because your body has gotten accustomed to your exercise regime. You might want to incorporate a few new techniques into your routine.
To lose 1 lb you need to burn or use up approximately 3500 calories which is not to difficult to do in a week. Remember some food are negative calories, you can eat them and they burn more cals digesting than they account for. So use lots of those ..e.g apples cabbage cucumber.
You should also take a good multivitamin to ensure you body has all the required minerals and vitamins. And drink lots of water to remain hydrated. The vitamin that works for me is one a day weight smart but its not for everyone and you much eat a proper meal before taking it.
When you have the munchies snack on something healthy or drink a hot cup of tea this will make you feel satisfied an full. www.foodnetwork.com had lots of great low fat recipes. A little whipped cream on fresh fruits is yummy and not alot of cals believe it or not.
Hope i've been helpful with these hints and good luck with your weight loss, just stay positive and keep focuses on your goal. If you want something bad enough you will eventually get it. :)

FOODS: give up consuming an excessive amount of meals. Eat smaller quantities ONLY three occasions an afternoon. When you suppose that you're getting complete, give up consuming. Start consuming highly spiced meals. It raises the metabolism. Try a few Indian Food, it's going to aid. Exercises: RUN, RUN, RUN and in addition do a little weights to construct a few muscular tissues so that you seem well. Quickest & Fastest method: Lipo suction. But I suppose you may have time to shed weight. By December, you'll be able to lose a LOT of weight.

You've probably hit a plateau. Your heavier body required more calories just to keep things running than does your new, trimmer body. (More tissue to feed with oxygen and nutrients). This means that if you are eating & exercising in the same way as when you started to lose weight, you may actually end up just maintaining or even gaining weight. You probably need to cut a few hundred calories from your diet and/or increase your physical activity. Then again, maybe this 166 is a healthy weight for you and your body is tellling you that. Talk to your doctor or nutritionist if you want a specific plan.

Excercise when ever you can. Take a dance class ( those are the best). Try jogging as much as possible. Also, do not push your self too hard. Do crunches and push ups.
Good Luck
