I have been divorced for 6 months and having a hard time finding what I would like in a date. Petite, short and perky. Why do all ladies want only 6 foot tall guys? I am athletic, have a great job and a nice person. Please help.....

Height and age don't really matter!
It is WHO you ARE that does!
Just be yourself - PERIOD!!!
There are PLENTY of petite perky ladies out there - before you know it, you'll be stuck deciding which one to HOLD on to and I'll probably be the one helping you decide (in your next question) which one is a KEEPER!
Don't panic, she may even be in front of your face - KEEP your eyes open!!! ;)

How about that "Blame Others" thing?
It can't be Anything I'M Doing, the Ladies Only want 6 foot Tall guys. It's Them!
It usually works out that if a Physical Trait is all someone wants, It won't Last anyway.
I Hate to Tell you, You won't be 6 foot, Barring major Reconstructive Surgery.
Try Relaxing and just Talk to People, preferably in a Venue with the Same Interests as you. Look at How you Talk, Body Language, What you Ask.....Objectively. If you Have the Characteristics you Claim, it shouldn't be Difficult. There could be Something you Put Out, like "You won't like me Because I'm Short" or "I don't need another Relationship like the Last one" Vibe.
I've caught myself in a "Oh, I've had it with Sports Fans" or the Like (even add "I'm Just Sayin' ".....Now, if my Prospective Date enjoys a good Game now and again, what's he Thinking will happen first time I call, and he's watching a Game?)
Good Job, Athletic.....Likes Petite, Short.....damn, and Perky!

You seem pretty shallow yourself. Why does the woman have to be petite? Why can't she be average or athletic-type? And of course you have a problem with tall women. She must be short? Why don't you broaden selection in looking for that perfect lady. My advice to you, is give all women(any body type, any height, and far most any race) a chance. I promise you then... you will find the ideal mate. Another thing... enjoy being on a date, instead of finding flaws in your date.

You know what I am having the same problem but my answer to you is -the same reason you are looking for one who is petite? Everybody has there certain "type" and unless we broaden our choices we may be stuck in the same routine for a while. What do you think?

I suggest you expand your search to included females of intelligence, warmth and sweetness and forget about the physical attributes that go with it. In that way you might stand a chance of finding someone who is looking for someone who is caring and responsible rather than a tall guy!
Focus less on the outside and more on the inside!!!

small girls like to feel petite and that works best with a tall guy. the big girls want to feel small and that works best with a big guy. it sucks. my brother has the same problem

Height does NOT matter to me. My man is 5'7 and sexy as hell!!! Just don't give up you will find a woman who is not so superficial.
