I download things that take a while and I don't want my comp to shut down automatically. I bought it a month ago, must've set some option in the beginning. I do want a screen saver and like the sleep mode after maybe 2 HOURS. u know? Where do I click to set all this up?

Right click on your desktop and go to "Properties". From there navigate to the "Screen Saver" tab and select "Power", set everything to "Never".

go to start control panel then power options down the left hand side there is a link that says "change when the computer sleeps" click that and set it to what you want

I Have Windows XP, You should check control panel for power options and set everything to never
