does it give you energy. or make you high (i dont mean like acting like a drunk, i meant like it makes us loosen up and get our personalities out)??? or does it make us calm or somthing??

im not being offensive but what the point of doing yoga?? lol

Yoga helps to stretch the muscles and release tension. it helps to elongate the muscles and calm both the mind and body. Different disciplines create different effects. Try several instructors as you integrate yourself into the discipline. find someone that makes you feel comfortable. The core strengthening and overall physical effort will make you more comfortable with yourself and a happier person.

relies upon what type of yoga you do, many of the yoga isn't the "relaxing" sort - its a workout consultation. as quickly as I did yoga classification (gotta start up lower back). When I've done yoga, it was one of the most relaxing feelings ever after the exercises were over. I can almost equate the feeling with sex after glow. (lol)

Yoga gave me leaner muscles, aids in the back & stomach problems I had. It's the stretching and breathing that helped me the most.

All spiritual stuff aside, Yoga is effectively stretching. Stretching your muscles out relieves and rejuvenates them, and keeps them in shape. It will release endorphins to make you feel good, and generally calm you.

i recommend trying it at least once. it will make you sore at first because you are stretching muscles that you don't use all the time. the point of doing yoga is stretching your muscles and it does make you feel better and more relaxed.

it keeps one very flexible...with energy.
there are many types of yoga....
from easy and gentle movements to high energy ashtanga.
exercise..in any form wipes the slate clean..everyday ..getting rid of any negativity.
