He is as much god of the moon as of everything else you mentioned. Of course the same could be said for all gods of monotheistic religions. Polytheistic religions tend to assign individual gods to the various segments of creation.
That's the great thing about theism. There's no way to prove it. Gods never show up on Survivor or The Weakest Link. Of course, there's no particular need to prove it either. If any group of theists are right, all of us will find out eventually. If Atheists are right, none of us will because nothing will happen.
If it helps you to believe in your god, or alien visitations, or ghosts, or Santa Claus, I don't have a problem with that. It's nonsense but it can be harmless nonsense. It is only when you feel the need to take action in favor of your god that I have a problem.

ill just add what i always do when people start screaming that "Allah is not my GOD!!!": "Allah" is the word for "God" in Arabic. its not a different god, its a different language. Allah is the word used for god in Middle Eastern churches, by Arabic speaking Christians. your way is more poetic, but it still makes it seem like "Allah" and "God" are two different deities. :)

In Quran it doesn't have the word GOD. It speaks of only Allah. Yes he has different names too...But we muslims call him GOD so that you would understand that we mean one mighty creator. If we mention him by his Isme-Azam you would not understand.
