Yes, it is stalking IF you have told him face to face that it is over. Guys don't take hints. You must make it very clear to him face to face.

That is stalking. The guy is a creep. Make a report to the police. Courts usually won't issue a restraining order unless there is some type of violence however if you articulate to the court that he's constantly showing up, calling and generally making a nuisance of himself then they may issue one in your case. Good luck.

Call your local police precinct and tell them the situation and ask them what you should do. They will probably tell you to get a restraining order or something. But when he gets near you, you have to be brave and actually call the police. This is how women end up dead. They think the guy is really just a harmless kook, until he sees you with another man and goes off.

Do you feel threatened or is it just annoying? If you feel threatened, you know the obvious, call the police, get a restraining order. If its just annoying, first remember how flattering it is to be loved and then sit him down and explain it to him. "I don't want you to call me anymore or come by my house anymore. Do you understand that I do not want you to contact me?" When he says "Yes," you say, "Okay, now if you call me or come by my house, I will call the police." Make sure you don't give him any signals and keep it short and blunt. That should take care of him. If he doesn't stop, then he's threatening - call the police!

Some of my friends have had this problem, and it freaked them out for a long time. Then one day when he called/texted they said why do call me all the time?? I am sort of a BUSY girl and stuff. I don't really want this relationship to get out of control even though it already has. I just want you to please stop calling me and trying to talk to me for a long time, and when I am ready I will call you. This gives you the chance to relax and if you never call him back, it is okay because you didn't say when you were going to call him back...

Maybe you need to call the police. People are crazy, you never know how far he will take something. I wouldnt mess around with this situation, if he can't understand that you two are not together anymore then make him undrstand with a restraining order!

Unless he is following you around and ducking behind bushes and stuff, then he is not stalking. Stalkers generally don't knock on your door and ask if you want to hang out. Just tell him flat out that you do not like him and he better leave you alone. If he keeps it up then alert the police of his odd behavior just to get your complaint on record. Good luck.

Make it very clear to him in no uncertain terms, he is never to call you or show up at your house again. If he disregards that, call the police immediately.

If he will not listen to reason, you need to get a restraining order. Some guys consider it an insult to their dignity to be dumped
