Baby carrots are a good thing to start with!! How about a turkey breast sandwich, 2 or 3 slices, on whole wheat or rye bread, with mustard? (mustards' lower in fat) and if you have any, some leaf lettuce!! (leaf is WAY better for you than iceberg, or head lettuce!!)...and oh yeah, maybe a tomato slice or two on it? You could also add another raw vegetable, maybe a celery stalk or two..or some sliced green peppers, or some raw cauliflower....makin' ya hungry? hope these ideas get you to thinking of other healhy lunches!!

When I was carrying my lunch to work everyday, I usually opted for a slim fast, a turkey sandwhich, and a salad. The slim fast helped because it was easy to carry and had just the right amount of calories to complement my sandwhich and salad, no other reason (I use them to supplement my diet, not AS my diet.)
Anyway, this usually kept me going till the end of the day. Put an apple or two in there... at most you'll be getting an extra 160 calories from two apples, so why not have them as a snack?
Oh yeah, and Trish is right... easy on the salad dressing.

Healthy meal means involving 4 food groups. Healthy enough means at least 2 -3 food groups. Carrots or salad only has 1 food group. You need a sandwich or soup to go with your veggies ;)

A salad is always a good choice, just make sure you go easy on the dressing. That can be a real killer!

you can make a healthy whole wheat sandwich, stuffed pita pockets or a wrap - put inside some veggies and meat.
you can take some whole grain cereal in a little bag and it can be your snack.
