Guys if you were with this girl and you had some rough patches in your relationship that working through seemed rough at times but being without the person was the last things you wanted, and you treated eachother good. If you broke up some reason and she got out on her own and then you came back to her, and things were weird cause you have been apart for so long. Say one day she finds something that proves you cheated on her, instead of contronting you and talking to you she tries to hide it but it backfires and it pissed you off that she did it, what would you do? Would you be able to forgive her? would you want her to forgive you for cheating? This happened to me and he left me cause he did not like the way I handled it... but he did something that really upset me and I was not thinking. If this was a situation you found your self in what would the out come be? Keep in mind you love this person more than anything, but things never seem to get better than they are.

I'd say it's just time to move on if it never seems to get any better. you have to ask yourself, do the good times outweigh the bad ?

All you can do is try and talk it out with him. If you're sorry say so. Showing the above might be a good start, and then might not. And if he can't forgive you, then is he worth keeping? Sometimes nothing works and then you grieve for a while and eventually move on. It's not the end of the world, although it might feel like it.

Ghostie's comment below is also part of this. He did you wrong, and is masking that by his anger at you. But his anger is also real. You have to deal with both issues. The best way is to somehow separate them. I would take them in the order they are important to him... if you really want to keep him.

Sometimes you have to force your head to prevail over your heart. I don't consider it cheating if you were broke up at the time, but if he really did cheat on you, I don't care how good looking he is or how much you are attracted to him, he isn't worth the hide that he's wrapped in. When you find the right guy, you will wonder what you ever saw in this loser. It might have been your intuition that told you to bail when you did, even though you didn't know why at the time. Kudos, Kid. He isn't going to change, ESPECIALLY if you take him back.

Okay. He cheated on you, you found out, and he had the nerve to say he didn't like the way you handled things? What a jerk! Talk about projection! He's putting his guilt off onto you. Don't take it! You have the right to react however you want to react. He cheated on you. Keep the focus where it ought to be, on HIM! Do not let him put this guilt off onto you. It's a trick so he can go away feeling like the hero. Don't let that happen!

Kinda sounds to me like you two are attracted, but not in love. Love is not jealous and holds no resentment. Love would not allow you to cheat on her.

I'm thinking you two need to decide if your going to build a relationship from this point forward or break it off to find your true love.

Note that for some . . this never happens.

If she found out I cheated on her and she found proof I wouldn't bother because I'm not worth it and I'll probably live alone. I wouldn't get mad I must've had a good reason to do it.

This question is very convoluted. Probably you want to sit down and try it again, because it seems interesting, but not put together so it is understandable.
