This guy bugged a family friend for months to introduce us. He knew what I looked like and everything. We went out once and after that he told someone we were incompatible. We talked, laughed and had a good time. Even had some things in common. I just don't believe that you can know that after being around someone once. I'm moving on from the situation. It is not like I am dwelling on it. Just wondering why someone would come on so strong and then be done with it.

Maybe you were too alike and he didn't feel like you could be his girlfriend, maybe just a friend.

Glad to hear you're moving on from the situation. It happens all the time. For what ever reason; he just didn't "feel" the connection. You can go out with someone and "Hope" for the connection, but sometimes it's just not there. There's plenty more eligible guys out there that will find that special connection with you. SO HAVE FUN!

Heihei, been once in that situation also. A guy asked my bestfriend bout me from pics and called to my mobile then so many times so we can meet. After few times calls, I decided to meet him somewhere. He came so late with some excuses. I was surprised cos he made me bit dissapointed to let me wait after his invitation that he wants to meet me so much. We went then for a coffee in starbucks then he asked me to go for a movie, which I thought it was all then went good. After the movie he wanted even to go for another things but I should go back home for some reasons. The next days, I tried to contact him thru sms, he replied like a stranger, asking whose mobile number was the message from! I got shocked cos he used to call me and after one day dating, that was all and was wondering somehow what happened. Anyway, he was just a past and I'm glad though nuthins more with him cos later I found out he is for sure not my type *g* Nuthin more to curious about. End of case *hihi*

It happens...it happens all the time..it was'nt meant to be..Sometimes I have wanted to meet someone but once we started talking I notice that it is'nt a love connection..does'nt mean that I did'nt like him or found him attractive and had a good time..just means no spark,no connection...don't feel bad..these things happen...

He might've thought you were attractive, but found out that your personality wasn't his type. He's probably a great guy that was too nice to spoil your evening by just bluntly saying "This isn't working" and leave. I would entertain my date for its entirety, regardless of compatibilty. He probably does want to remain friends.
