there is no quick fix or you will gain it all back.
cardio is the only way to reduce body fat (we cant spot reduce it naturally) so do it 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (preferably 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat) - running, jogging, swimming, cycling, rope jumping, elliptical, hiking etc.- dont do the same cardio all the time, mix it up and keep your body guessing.

Unfortunately there is no set of exercises that will get rid of the fat only in your arms. When you lose weight, the body will not simply take the fats from the areas that you are working out, but from all over the body. My advice would be to keep running as you are.
To help things look as though they are more toned weight training is always a good option, and the fact that it is also a big help with weight loss as well is a great benefit. Try working out your biceps and triceps as well as the running.

By your question, it sounds as though this may be your body build. Just take up a good routine in a total body work out. They have some excellent books at the library on this subject. Do some research on your own. What works for some will not work for all of us, so be patient. Additionally, in reading your question, you seem to know this runs in the family. If you are following a good nutritional diet, staying away from soda pop, drinking plenty of water and working out properly, you should be at your proper weight for your body build. Sometimes we need to concentrate on our pluses, rather than our minuses.

you will no longer be able to objective specific components of your physique which you relatively pick to slender down. you're able to do one hundred take a seat-united statesevery night and not lose any physique fat. you may in ordinary terms be working the muscle tissue decrease than the fat particularly of burning it. i might advise 20-40 minutes of cardio 4-5 situations each week. try ingesting nutrition that enhance your metabolism. ex: dairy products, eco-friendly tea, apples, pears, broccoli, and nutrition that are extreme in nutrition C. Water is a ought to! beware for nutrition that are over 10 grams of sugar. Sugar is annoying to avert, yet in simple terms lowing the quantity you intake could have an excellent constructive result. A effective tip that i bypass via is, bypass the sauce. you will have the fries, yet bypass the ketchup. Ketchup might look probability free, in spite of the undeniable fact that it has a ton of undesirable carbs in it. there is 40 5 energy in in simple terms 3 tablespoons of ketchup. it is going to possibly no longer appear like lots, in spite of the undeniable fact that it provides up rapid! Mayo is even worse with one hundred energy in one tablespoon. additionally in simple terms remember to are starting to be the dazzling volume of sleep each night. once you are going to have a snack earlier mattress, have it approximately an hour earlier and save it gentle and straightforward. i like to have low fat yogurt for a bedtime snack. Your metabolism decelerate on the same time as you sleep, so ingesting an excellent meal suitable earlier mattress will happen on the size the subsequent morning. desire this facilitates. :)

You could try pilates in conjunction with traditional weight training. Pilates is great because it focuses on creating long, lean and toned muscles. I really enjoy doing it. I got a DVD and do it all the time.
Good luck!

Sounds to me like 147 LBS is a little too heavy for a 5'7" female, assuming you are female. I think you need to lose about 15 to 20 lbs in addition to your work out.
