you just like everybody else will fail if you have to follow strict diet.
you have to change your lifestyle (diet and exercise) to lose fat and not gain it back in a few days.
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise and burns fat all over your body (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I'm not going to tell you that size you want is too skinny, but your body will go to the size you are supposed to be. I don't think there is really quick and healthy way to loose 2 to 4 sizes. You can try eating smaller portions and more often. Don't starve yourself during the day, that does not make you loose weight. When you eat more often you speed up your metabolism. When that happens your body burns more calories. Cut out junk food, like soda and fast food restaurants. Eat more fruits and veggies. You say you don't have much time to exercise. Do you have maybe 30 minutes at least 3 days a week? You can walk or swim, or do some type of exercise for that long and it will help. I think if you change the way you eat without starving yourself, you may be able to drop at least one size in no time. No matter how you loose the weight, please make sure you do it in a healthy way.
I did this and I lost weight and went down on clothes size, but I incorporated running as my form of exercise.
You can also try the South beach diet. That seems to work too.
Good luck to you. I hope this helps you, at least a little bit.

No diet's gonna work w/o some exercise. Running or walking for 20 minutes a day is better than nothing.

As for eating, a normal healthy calorie intake is 2000 calories a day. To gain weight you eat more and to lose you eat less. If you're under 18 or still maturing don't eat any less than 1800 or 1700 calories a day. If you're older than that you can uct back to 1600 or 1400 calories a day.

When you work out, you have to burn more calories then you eat, but don't stress about that. Working out for 25-30 minutes a day can make a huge difference as long as you change the intensity from day to day. Denise Austen has a workout DVD called Get fit quick where the workouts are only 15 minutes long, but they're supposed to be effective.

I would recommend not doing some stupid faddy diet (like Atkins), just 'cos as soon as you stop it the weight will pile right back on! Totally avoid alcohol- thats got soooo many calories in it! do loads of little things in your everyday life, eg. stand up whilst watching tv (that burns 3x more calories than sitting down), do sit-ups, crunches, squats...a mini (20 minute-ish) workout once/twice a day, and go swimming or running once EVERYDAY. seriously. Running and swimming are amazing all -over workouts, and they convert existing fat to muscle! Also, try to avoid snacking, and eat 3 times a day, in moderation (no seconds or big portions!), and cut out fizzy drinks etc - you can find that you are loading on the pounds through drinks without even realising! Also, whilst watching tv, do quick workouts in the ad breaks - jogging on the spot, sit-ups etc. You could always go to the gym and get a personal trainer, who will help you achieve your goal as much as they can...but that can be expensive! Try the things I've recommended above...they work! Good luck! =P

I don't reccomend this, because you'll most like;ly gain the weight right back, but if your looking for an effective way to lose weight I'd say to have nothing but lemon juice mixed with keyan pepper and maple syrup for 6 days. The pounds will drop isntantly but trust me, it tastes like crap.

I know where your coming from I'm a 2 right now only a little more till I'm a zero. yay.
