Why do some (most?) girls like being with older guys?

Most girls my age (say, 14-16) seems to like taller, bigger, generally older guys. Why is that?

I think a lot of that comes from instinct (b/c as we get older, that attraction doesn't really go away).
Many times, females are just generally attracted to a man who is tall, strong and older - that means that he's well-adjusted, mature and can take care of her (like a protection thing).

Well I dont know about 14~16 years old but lets say like a 21 years old girl can have either the 21 yrs old guy or the 28 years old I think the girl might choose the 28 years old b/c the 28 years old is more mature than the 21 years old 21 years old still act like teenages trying to impress everyone they still think there invinsable at that age were the 28 years old might still have fun but maybe in a more mature responsable way!!! hope this helps

Most girls mature at a faster rate than guys, so they tend to go for older guys so that their maturity levels are closer together.
But it could also be some primal instict to get with a male that will protect and provide for, Who knows?
I mean wh do 40 year old men think that they have a right to date girls of 20? Eeeeeew

Alot of girls like taller,bigger,and older guys because they like that more.Walking down the street holding has with a little,tiny,younger guy would be retarded.On the other hand holding hands with a nice taller,bigger,and older guy is generally better for most girls.

girls of that age like older guys/ and later in life they tend to go for the younger guys/ late 20 s/40 s maybe 50 because the youngr girl thinks its cool to be w/older guys and the older women think love is better w/the younger guys crazy huh?

It makes them feel more secure and mature. They think they're awesome cause they have an older guy. It's mostly a popularity thing. Either that or they are too mature for the people in their age group type thing.

Boys and Girls can we just finish growing up and enjoy today. Hey here is a reply from a WOMAN in a whole different age bracket..and yes we're still going through the same bullshit as you "youngins" are..my old man is being chased by a desperate young chicken head. Who should concern herself and focus on her youngins as well meaning her babies. My old man can even keep up with me..so sweetie they are going through a phase..it will fade you watch and see..

if your a good quality guy she wont mind what age you are unless your immature or under sexual relation age.

if u're 14-16 [girl] u dont reli wna go out with a 12-14 guys...

and guys who's older is usually more attractive and have developed their personality.

because most girls believe that they mature faster than boys and they also think that most guys they're age are childish and immature and only into them for sex(big misconception)
