had a friend tell me her testimony. it blew me away. she thought she would never talk about Jesus to me. because one time she said something about prayer and i rolled my eyes and walked away from her.
it is funny that had a friend whom was raised with a strong Christian background.help led him to being an atheists. mocked the idea of God and my friend took it to heart. well years later God returned that man into my life and had to witness Jesus love to him. it was hard because he would remind me about my disbelief. well in the end he returned to Christ.

I have seen the exodus go from Christian to Atheist but not the other way around. Interesting question. I guess that the first thing I would be curious about was just how much of an atheist they really were. I would also wonder if they were doing the "I was gay, till I found Christ" thing just to make a point of saying that they "converted".

For me, it grow to be coaching. Raised a center-of-the-street Christian, I constantly related with the affection part of the faith: the selflessness of Jesus, the forgiving nature of God (ok, shrink me some slack...i did no longer study the excellent Bible till my 1920s). As I study greater approximately my very own faith, approximately different religions, the inconsistencies have been unavoidable. i could no longer reconcile a loving God and a God who could respond with anger and vengeance while his toddlers sought wisdom or made errors born out of loneliness, lack of understanding, and desperation. I appeared on the numerous stable, kind, loving human beings I knew who weren't Christian and ought to no longer have faith in a God that could sentence such toddlers to eternal suffering. And, considering i ought to no longer have faith that non-Christians have been damned, i could no longer fairly evaluate myself a Christian anymore. And while i desperate to seek for medical evidence that God even existed, i grow to be at a loss. as much as i had to discover evidence, it purely would not exist. faith is faith, and that i've got none. I even have technology and learn myself agnostic. The abridged version;) Now, as a confirm, I have not any doubt approximately one element: if there is one, God loves in all languages.

I heard on the radio that God has a personal name.
I had never heard that one before.
So, I started researching, reading, etc...
And came to the realization that the Name...
Jehovah's Witness' means they r witnessing about the one true God, Jehovah.
Then, a Witness was at my door, I started studying w/ her, started going to the library to find out if what I was being taught was true...it is.
I've never looked back.

When I was 8 or 9 I was considering atheism but fortunately for me I had strong Christian parents who beat me with a belt until I saw the light.

Time & maturity. I stopped trying to make religion about science and facts and finally realized it was about faith.
