could be a myriad of reasons. When was the last time you had your tires rotated and balanced. If your tires are out of balance it can cause your car to do some weird things at higher speeds. In fact the last time that I had my tired changed they knocked off one of the balancing weights and I didn't even notice it until it started riding rough. Like somone else said your motor mounts my be loose or damaged which would not hold the engine in place properly and cause vibrations. You could have a bent rim, a damaged suspension, a problem with one of the calipers on the breaks not releasing properly. It could be alot of things. The only way you will know is take it in and let a mechanic take a look at it if you don't know how to do it yourself.

Rims tires.
99% of the time this is the problem.
Check the inner and outer sides of the tires for bulges, they may be small feel for them.
That is broken belts, would make it shake like mad.
Or possible your wheel balancer weight fell off, they do sometimes.
Air pressure in the tires might be low on 1-2 or more tires that will do it too.
If thats not the problem I would say suspension.

A tire is out of balance. Sometimes they just fly off your tire when your driving. Look at your rims and see if they all have lead wieghts on them. (usually all will) Go to your mechanic and ask to check the balance of your tires. I hope this helps

That happened to my mustang last year. The problem ended up being a lug nut that was loose in my back left wheel.

it could be one of two things on it,the tires could be out of balance on it,or it could have a broken belt in a tire causing it,id go for the tires first though to see if they are in balance, that's the usual problem with one shaking at high speeds, good luck with it hope this helps.

alignment, tire pressure, wind resistance, tire wear too many factors to tell right now, need more of a description of the "shaking"

I had that problem years ago. I think it turned out to be the transmission. You should get that checked out ASAP!
