It sounds disgusting but i want a healthier option instead of just eating skinny cow ice cream all the time.

Some of the soy ice creams aren't that great, but Tofutti brand is GREAT! The Vanilla Almond Bark is the best, in my opinion. They also make ice cream sandwiches called "Cuties" which are really good too. The mint and peanut butter are my faves. If you are going to try a soy ice cream (or any soy, dairy substitute) I would try Tofutti first. They're version of "cream cheese" is actually pretty good too! And this is coming from someone who LOVES real cream cheese.

Enjoy your new food tasting!

I just tried soy ice cream this week and LOVE LOVE LOVE it! It's so great!! Try the So Delicious kind by Turtle Mountain!! It's so good! I'd say try Neapolitan flavour because you can try strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla at the same time to see what of the basic flavours you like!
I love that brand!!!

in my experience, the soy ice-creams can be disappointing, especially if you're used to milk ice-cream (full fat or skinny cow). why not try a frozen yogurt instead? you can pick up a variety of flavors at most grocerty stores. some of my favorites include ben and jerry's low fat frozen yogurt in half baked or cherry garcia (190c/3gF and 170c/3gF respectively) or Stoney Field (especially creamy and delicious) in Javalanche (fat free) or Raspberry White Chocolate Chunk (low fat).

another option: sherberts and sorbets. most have 3 grams of fat or less.

Actually, Soy Delicious 'frozen dessert' is awesome! I swear by the Chocolate Brownie Almond type. It's really REALLY good.
I also like their Turtle Trails. Give it a try.
:-D

Do they make soy icecream? Amazing. Soy milk is quite good so I should think soy icecream is definitely worth a try.
