No doubt about it! Peace comes from Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit living in me give me peace that passes all understanding. I can guarantee this. Family, relationships, money, power, fame do give you joy at times but they also give you worries, troubles, and let-downs. Put all your faith in the One is is constant and always there. :) God bless.

For me, peace comes in this strange mindset I call 'hack mode'. It's this combination of total exhaustion combined with unhealthy amounts of nicotine and caffine. Often, it takes being awake two days straight or more high on those two substances.
The exhaustion & *tine's only support the real goal though -- total and utter focus on some bit of programming code.
When you get into that headspace, all else seems to fall away. You can only see one thing, the literal ebb and flow of the data through your code. You stand astride a vast ocean of 1's and 0's, as far as the eye can see, and as you lose yourself to the tides and currents of raw data, you lose yourself to the code and the code itself speaks to you.
I've more than once gotten into this mode, finally hit the wall and crashed, and woke up to thousands of lines of code having been written and debugged, with a genius entirely other than anything I could have thought of in any other state.

Peace is a fruit of the Holy Spirit and He can help us to receive it as we follow His ways. This is the peace of God that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7)

God and His word-
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

None of the above, it can only come from me, and living my life the way I want to live it, not the way other people think I should.
