God created us. The Bible says that if we believe in God, we require a strong faith. A strong faith requires leaps of faith, like following blindly what the Bible says. And if we don't, we pay the consequences. Since the Church is built up of imperfect humans, isn't there a possibility that some of them may fall into temptation and trick us? It's so difficult to believe that God would treat us like this, or is it just the Church?

RB is right. The False Prophet is a wolf in Sheeps skin. You have to Read the Bible and understand what he wants to know what the church's plans are. I know that God does not 'trick' but tests. If you are having problems, pray.

Read the bible for yourself and do as you are led to do by your understanding. Church organizations tend to put their own rules into play which aren't always what the bible says. Yes humans are imperfect therefore religions created by them will be imperfect also.

The Bible warns us on this and gives instruction against false prophets. It isn't God who treats us a certain way, as such, as there are consequences to everything that we do.

A god that punishes for not praising him is no god at all. It more describes a selfish child than a god.
