I'm not sure, but I think it's a myth. By the way if you add an O, it becomes Hello!

Hell is real. God made it as the Home of the Fallen after Lucifer rebelled. Then came the Fall of Man. That makes it a home for People that don't get saved.( Not to pull out the push you into cristianity card) Satan is on Earth to Cause Humans to go to Hell because when the End comes, He will be cast into the lake of Fire.

Some people think that living is actually hell and that we will one day go to heaven. Others and I tend to agree that Hell is anywhere without God....so after you die....being banished from heaven and God for eternity would mean you're in hell....is it actually hot...not sure...probably not.
Everyone looks at the Bible differently....some think of them as tales to teach you the word of God and others believe them literally....maybe we're all wrong....I say live a good life.
I read one of the responses above....if the grave is hell...then we all go to hell...she actually said that Jesus went to hell.

Hell is the product of a mistranslation and the masterpiece of Dante. This is the information I've read about:
The Greek word "gehenna" was the translation from the Hebrew word "gueh hin-nom" (Valley of Hinnon). It was mistranslated as hell the truth is that the Hebrew word was used in regard to the trash dump-site. The 1800's doctrine of hell that the church adopted and we all know today is based on Dante's "The Divine Comedy".

Read Revelation 21:8. In it, you'll see just how real Hell will be! God created it as an eternal separation and punishment for unrepentant sinners.

Hell is real and it is a reality here on earth, but it certainly not limited to what some have to go true now. Anyways to well explain it it not necessarily a fire it can just be a state of mind that you don't feel comfortable with.

Both in the Old and New Testament in the Bible talk about Hell, and above all Jesus talked about hell more than anyone.
Many people have a misconception about hell. They think that God made it to scare us to do His will. But Hell was created for the Devil and the other fallen angels for their transgression of trying to be equal to God, their disobidience, ego (read Isaiah 14:12-15 and Ezekiel 28:13-18). It was created to punish sin. Romans 6:23 says: "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Every action has an equal or greater reaction. For everything there is a price. The price of our sin is spiritual death, eternal damnation, but God has built a bridge so that if we leap to it in faith and follow it to the end, we may be able to escape that final destination. God in His eternal love, decided to make a way for us. So that we don't get what we deserve. In Psalm 103:10-18 says: "He hath NOT dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them."
Note that He does this to those who "keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them".
Our way is taking us to Hell, but God has an escape for us if we choose.
John 3:16-18 says: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
The choice is yours.
God bless.

Loving God, forgiving and all knowing condemning someone to eternal suffering, no I don't think so. Seriously does anyone deserve eternal suffering, possibly only the person who thinks others do. No one acts in complete isolation, everyone comes to their misdeeds because of upbringing, social conditioning, physical drives etc, and remember no one but no one is innocent.
