If there was Miss Universe for cats my cat will definately be in Top 10 place. Well I am worried about her as she is so beautiful , already some male cats in the neighborhood have been 'hitting' on her. Should I be worried about her safety ??

To answer Divagirl , My cat is still very young she is about 3 months old. Thats why I am worried because some of these male cats are very aggressive towards her I think one male cat already tried to 'rape' her. She was very grouchy towards me and screaming when I found her. Some of these male cats have no morals and ethics for bothering her like that ...

Your cat is beautiful to you; cats don't care. They are more interested in the female being in heat. They are 'hitting on her' because of that. It is perfectly normal and the only thing you can do is to get her to the vet, have her fixed, and follow his instruction about how long she has to stay inside after the operation. As far as permanently making her a house cat, I doubt if that will work. Cats are born to be hunters and because she has been used to prowling for hours at a time, she is going to be very unhappy if she is never let out. (Plus the litter box would need daily emptying. LOL) My cat has come in with evidence that she has been in a fight. It is natural. I certainly don't like it but that is what animals do. You sound like an excellent mommy. It is normal to worry. My cat disappeared for 8 days once and I was sure that she died...terrible, terrible time for me; I grieved for her. But guess what?! She came home on her own looking fine. Temptation was there to keep her in but I had to think of what she would want and when she cried and cried at the door to go out I (reluctantly) let her out. I figured she came home once and she would come home again. I was right; she's still with me 5 years later. Good luck to a lucky cat!

You don't say how old your cat is. Be sure to get her spayed, then you will not have to worry adding to the excess population of cats, and the males will not bother her. Do yourself and your cat a favor, take her to a vet and if she is old enough, get her spayed. From a serious cat lover that does not want any more cats to be born that cannot be given a good home. PLEASE take my advice.

a male cat just like a male human does not look at the face all that much but the view they get from behind..i would recommend you get her fixed and keep her inside or you will have alot more kitties to deal with then just one..

Spay her and she won't attract as many mates. The males won't be able to smell the chemical the females release when they're in heat.

keep your cat at home and do the operation for sterilization at 3-4 mouths later maybe a good idea

first of all animals dont go by looks as humans do. its their sent that attracts them to each other. if you get your cat spayed and keep her inside as a house cat she shoukd be fine. if you have to take her out i would suggest a pet carrier.

Get her fixed, keep her in, should you have even asked that... if there is no scent, no pharamone level, there's no male attention. Remember, in the animal world, looks don't matter, it's the scent that does the trick.

Get your cat spayed so that way the cats won't be interested.

if she's beautiful, put her in a show! It would be fun for you and your cat. Tom's will bother her if she is left outside.(You wouldn't want her to get sick)
