Should be ok, as the dvla will have it on the computer that it is paid for, and when the police do their check, it should show up...however if you get a copper who takes a dislike, he could do you for not showing an up to date tax disc.

Technically it is an offence to drive without displaying a valid tax disc but hopefully the police would show a bit of discretion and not prosecute you. Good luck.

No you are not allowed to drive the car ,you tax disc should be on show at all times .

Officially no...you should buy your tax on-line in good time to ensure new tax disc can be displayed in you car on the correct date.

In theory, no. You can be fined for "failure to display a valid tax disc".
However, the police may be lenient - it is less paperwork for them if they accept that you have paid.

yes you can because if the police check your car it will come up as paid and in post. I did it its fine.
