4th of July is celebrated as it was the day when Declaration of Independence was first adopted by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from Great Britain.
Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, picnics, baseball games, Americana related items, and various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States. Fireworks have been associated with the Fourth of July since 1777.
Nothing towards marking of equality or bais based on color, cast, region or country. It is a celebration of victory and freedom.

I sure other countries ,celebrate their own victories of wars or laws written ,heros etc. The U.S. celebrates a day when "the declaration of independence" was written by important leaders at that time in our country ,created laws which in turn begin a tradition of 4 of July!

Don't be silly. Every country has a 4th of July. I can't think of one country where their calendar goes from July 3rd to July 5th.

When America was discovered, it was claimed as part of British territory.
After a while America decided it wanted to be separate but England wouldn't hear of it. They sent their army to stop America. Thus, The Revolutionary War. We won the battle and therefore gained our Freedom from British rule.
The 4th of July is to celebrate us gaining our independance.

You make false assumptions. Half of the people worldwide would prefer to kill you if possible and destroy your entire standard of life, so how can you call them "brothers"? The 4th of July is an American holiday and as such needs to be shared with no other country because it is ours, not theirs. The notion that no one people or country is special is an opinion that has no basis and is essentially an argument without merit, since many peoples though history have deemed themselves to be special or "Chosen".

I would think every country has a celebration on their independence day. We just might not hear about much because we are not in everyone's country.

Do you have any clue what the 4th of July is? It is the American Indpenedence Day, like Cinco de Mayo is for Mexico. I think you should do some research on what the 4th of July is.

You must be one of those globalists.
I am American. A proud one. Many people died to give us freedoms no other country has ever attained. We're losing those freedom left and right under the guise of protection, but that's another story.
I celebrate Independence Day for those who sacrificed everything they had to give me all I have. It's that simple.

How about Cinco de Mayo?
Got an anniversery of some sort?
What makes that any different than the millions of others across the globe?
