They can have their Rabie shot at 3 months of age. This first vaccine will only be good for one year. After that you will need to have your dog vaccinated every three yrs. Make sure you ask your vet if they are giving the two yr or the three yr vaccine. Some vets still use the two yr vaccine.

They get their first rabies vaccine at 3-4 months, and you can get them fixed at the same time. Most states allow 3 year vaccines, so ask your vet. It costs more initially, but it is so much easier in the long run. And keep proof of vaccine with you when you take trips. Your dog can be confiscated if you don't have the proof.

Puppies are able to get their rabies vaccination between 15 & 18 weeks of age. At that time it may be a 6 month vaccination. You'd have to go back to get the vaccination that will be good for 3 years.

Around three months of age. I'm assuming you're taking your pup for his regular 10-way vaccine (which is given in several parts), don't fret. Your vet will let you know when to get his rabies shot. Our pup got his between 12 and 15 weeks (along with the first part of his bortadella shot), and he needed his booster this year. Following that, he won't need another rabies vaccine for three years.
