Why can't Atheists and Christians just "Love" each other???

It seems that there is to much bickering and taunting back and forth between the two that something needs to be done!

So if your either or, why don't you go find a Christian or Atheist respectively and you know...*** :) :P

Seriously you both have so much pent up tension betweem each other it would best be spent copulating your differences over the night and a bottle of whine...

I imagine with the built-up energy and frustration Christians and Aetheists would be busy until the cows came home and somebody had to call the law for disturbing the peace :)

But i can never be assured that a Christian friend can look at me as just a friend and not ínclude religion in our friendship.When they claim to wanna pray for my ''salvation'', i feel offended because they have to think in terms of who's saved and who's not.Its as if the ideal world would be a Christian one with Christian bosses,Christian bus drivers,Christian neighbours,Christian everything...they even talk abt Christiandom and create a whole Christian ''world''.Everyone else outside belongs to the ''worl'd and all its evils.."!I havent met one Christian who can watch a movie with a friend or read a book like normal people do...and not heave and rant about how its blasphemous and its not what the bible says.How do you be friends with people like that?

maybe I'm a little slow in my understanding of jihad but doesn't that have a co-notation for muslims to do whatever necessary to get rid of the infidels - you know like killing them

While I think your suggestion is charming, you underestimate the damage and impact that theists have on the lives of others. The bottom line is that religion owes us, big-time.
