Yes, but they're all fairly sophisticated. The easiest would probably be a motion detector. Some office areas are equipped with these on the lights; if nobody is moving, the lights switch off. This would require you to occasionally lift your hand or something to keep the music playing, so it might also shut off while you're still awake, but you could turn it back on very easily. Once you fell asleep, it would eventually turn itself off.

More complicated would be a biosensor. You would have to connect some sensors to yourself to measure your heart rate or respiration, kind of like a polygraph. If programmed properly, it could recognize the metabolic changes that accompany sleep, and turn off the radio.

such as you, i can frequently remember the era earlier attempting to get to sleep, yet never surely remember falling asleep then awaken in the morning with the two innovations of desires or no longer something in any respect. in the process the night i could awaken once or twice to instruct the pillow over or exchange positions, yet different than that being asleep is a very subconscious state. Unconsciousness has constantly involved me. The odd element is this is a few thing that i attempt to steer away from, like the only time I ever circulate to sleep is after hours of battling it and at last purely supply up. the concept i've got not got any administration or acceptance of myself makes me uncomfortable, besides the undeniable fact that this is a enormously irrational concern because of the fact the only time this is experienced is while i do no longer comprehend it. "expertise is weird and wonderful." have been on condition that precise.

You can hook up a motion sensor to swithch off the electrical supply. A time fram can be put in place for the electrical supply to be switched off if there is no movement over a significant period of time.
The sleep timer feature can be used too.

most tvs and radios have preset time frames for which they can be set. It's the sleep feature. What's wrong with that? Oh yeah it's gotta go off the exact second you fall asleep. Sorry no go. Only sleep feature with preset time frames.
