Atheists are better
Than the hypocrites
I think if the God wants a company at his breakfast;
He will choose an Atheist;
But never a hypocrite

It's okay to state your mind in a public forum, whether your commentary is directed towards an atheist or not.
That's why this place exists.
However, there comes a point where further discussion is irrelevant -- and you exist in this place under your own terms.
If you think you should start or continue a discussion you should go for it. If you feel that what you say is just fodder for another's continued idiotic rantings then you should leave the matter be as it is.
This is why I have my say and move on. I'm not concerned with forcing my opinion on anyone -- and I certainly never intend to beat my head against a wall trying to convince anyone of anything, spiritual or otherwise.
It's simply counterproductive.

you are right. Atheism is also amode of thought having its own followers. India has granted freedom of thought for all religious groups so Atheists also have the right to think their own way and propagate their ideas.
In ancient india there were atheists also who were known as the charawaks. Unfortunately many people were not convinced with their ideas hence they disappeared with the course of time.

Yes, it's best to leave them alone. Getting into an argument with people whose beliefs are diametrically opposed to your own serves NO good purpose and is a wasted effort. My father was an atheist, and he had no patience for people who tried to convert him.

YES. Everyone should be left to their own opinion unless they ask what someone else thinks. The propaganda of (socalled) evangelical Christians is bothersome, even to other Christians,l and most people.
Only those who are unsure (insecure) about what they believe try to force their ideas onto others.

I attempt to no longer argue, yet whilst they slander and defame my God, my faith, my ideals and practices and me, i've got self belief slightly behooved to communicate as much as point out out that slander is mendacity, lest they incite others to lie besides. it fairly is a Christian accountability to reprove the works of darkness, and via the comparable token, would not you're saying that atheists ought to bypass away Christians on my own and supply up attempting to shove their ideals down our throats, insult and belittle us because of the fact we disagree with them, and can discover fault of their meant "good judgment." i'm satisfied to bypass away atheists on my own, yet i come across they do no longer supply me the comparable attention. it fairly is a 2 way street.

although I think it is very hard to argue with them. I always hope that I find one with an open mind that will consider my opinion.
Besides, a lot of times it's them that start the arguments. They feel threatened!

What fun is that? I mean, I personally love being told that I'm fat and ugly, and that I'm going to hell for being an atheist. Don't spoil my fun by not arguing with me...
