For God's sake... it's a PET??? And you want to pitch it in a "bin"??? Did you treat it like this when it was alive as well???? With all due respect, can't you find a place to bury the poor guy??? I buried my pet and just purchased a small pet stone to put over the grave.... nothing fancy, but nontheless a tribute to a companion and friend.... She did spend a week in a freezer in a postal service box (not so funny... every time I here the word tamales I think of my dead cat)... but that's just because I was out of town and wanted to bury her when I got back... At ANY rate.... I'm sure the animal is "disposed of" by now but unless it's a hamster or a fish or something... just find a nice out of the way place to bury the poor thing...

Anything not specifically allowed in the recycle bin should not be put there. Usually paper, plastic, metal and glass are the only items allowed in recycling bins. It does vary, depending on what your local recycler accepts, but I am sure that dead animals are never accepted by any recycler.

I guess you could put it in with your compost. The microorganisms would be thrilled. I don't think it is all that sanitary. Next year when you are putting some compost on your garden you could stabbed by some dead animal bone, and then you would be wishing that you had not done it. Just use a spade, lift up a chunk of grass. Throw the animal under and stomp it back in place. Yeah. ALL GONE.

Contact "Durban Solid Waste" if you do not have the money to give the animal a deceant burial. They will normally come out in their vehicle and take it to the City Pet Crimatorium to be disposed of in the correct way!

Why would you want to just toss your pet out with your trash? I don't think it is a funny question, nor to I think it is in good taste to even ask a question like this. Why not grab a shovel, pick a nice spot where you think he/she would have liked, and bury it there. I'm just trying to fathom the idea of why someone would do this. Would you want to be just pushed aside to be picked up with the rest of your trash when you die? Think of it that way...I mean come on!

Geez! I can't imagine putting my gentle and sweet cat in a recycle bin. She has been a part of our family for so long and we love her dearly. Please show a little more courtesy to others who read here.

Neither bin, it's unsanitary! bury the animal somewhere and you wont get stunk out! Have a good day.
