It's not "cement" as in "concrete" but a matrix of your own blood and bone & marrow, ground up and mixed with red "sea coral" It takes about a year to heal well. It worked fine for about ten years, I just now had to have a redo due to degeneration of the area. Cadaver bone was put in this time.
