Yes. Usually an allergy to laundry detergent shows as a maddening itch or even contact dermatitis. This is especially true of detergents with a lot of dyes and perfumes in it.

Absolutely, generally caused by the perfumes added to make the laundry smell clean and fresh. If you are experiencing skin irritation go back to a previous detergent or try one that is free of dyes and perfumes.

My daughter has allergic reactions to laundry detergent. I use one that has no dyes, inks, or perfumes and she is OK now.

This is from personal experience that yes laundry detergent can cause allergic reacations!!!!! My son is allergic to the cheap laundry soap,( remain name less of the soap)
He broke out in hives when I tryed to use it!!! He can only have tide and gain on his clothing!!!!!!!! You just have to try different soaps to see what one you can use!!!!!! Good luck!!!!!!!!!

yes it can....and the biggest one peopel are allergic to is tide
i recommond u use a soft detergent because u might have senitive skin...i would use ALL or the one with the bear huggin the towel lol and also use the fabric papers in the dryer it helps alittle with loosing the detergent

Yes. So can fabric softener and dryer sheets. You can buy hypoallergenic laundry detergent and fabric softener to help prevent it or double rinse your clothes and skip the fabric softener. ALL and TIDE both put out free and sensitive detergents that work great.

For sure: Through the years I've started using "All" in the washer, my daughter and I both have eczema real bad. It seemed to work well so we continued. Now through the years, this is all we use. No bleach.

Oh my, yes! I can only use the "free" kinds of soaps. And never ever any bleach!
