Hi, for cheapness a vauxhall corsa would be a good bet but be careful as a lot of youngsters have these and they get abused quite a lot, the best alternative would be a vw polo they are very reliable and hard wearing. make sure you get someone reliable to check it over first. good luck

Are you in the UK? I guess the classic would be a Ford Fiesta, or how about a VW Polo or Golf. I guess with two kids you need something with back doors a decent boot and that's reliable. Ford is probably the way to go. What did you pass your driving test in, perhaps it would be a good idea to get a car of the same type, something you are familiar with etc.? Take a good look around and do lots of test drives before you decide what to buy too. Good luck and happy driving!

a midsize at least and you couldn't go wrong with a full size as far as protection but with fuel economy it is hard. a ford taurus is good and a toyota camry is a really fine car to own

If the thought even crosses your mind of a compact or sub compact car just to save gas think about how it will fold up in a small accident with your two kids in the back seat

Toyota Corolla, they get awesome gas mileage, have 4 doors and are very durable. I used this car with all three of my kids. I have since upgraded to a mini van now that I have 5 kids.
