I need new kitchen cabinets, and I don't like the ones I've seen at Home Depot or Lowes. Someone told me catalogs are a great place to get better cabinets at a good price. I'd love to hear some suggestions from people who know cabinets.

you may laugh but look on ebay. they have tons of business that will ship ready to assemble cabinets that are nicer looking than the ones in lowes and home depot. i just found a place in pa, that's close enough i can drive to pick mine up and they ended up being priced out at $800 where the ones at home depot priced at $1200
they have various woods, styles, sizes....
see what they can do for you.
oh check on craigslist.com, sometimes business list there too
