My friend is Chinese and 19 and got with a guy who is much older. Now they have been dating a while and she feels ready to sleep with him and he has refused her stating he hopes she can marry him first!!! WTF! I never heard a guy be like that before, she is a virgin and quite taken by it all. He is a nice English guy of course (We all know you yankees cant match is Brits!)! He has however asked for her to live with him, he is about 5 years older btw and is willing to support her. But it seems so rare a guy interested in a girl more than his hardon so what do you think? Is it real or just a Master in Disguise? How would you feel?

I would be quite taken back by it, given what men today are like, and that most men would not think of marrying a woman without having slept with her first. It does sound quite fishy. Have they been together very long? Can she trust him? If they have been together for quite some time (i.e at least 6 months) then she should be able to trust him enough to know that he is genuine. Otherwise, I would tell your friend to wait a while and see if there is more to it than he is letting on.

When something seems too good to be true, it usually is. Maybe the guy is not equipped well enough to sleep with her. Maybe there is something with him which she will find out if she sleeps with him. That's why he is asking her to marry him. Gives him a greater hold. Make sure he is totally all right in that department.
This is just an alternative theory. It is possible that he really loves her though.

That's a good man your friend's got,the fact that some men can't wait doesn't mean all men are like that, ready to jump into bed in these days of STD's.
I believe he is the real thing and your friend should count herself blessed, and wait as the guy said till they are married, its the right thing to do,i'm very happy we have lovely folks like these two out there.God bless

Thanks about the comment about the Brits!! Are American guys that shallow..Ha..
I'm English and unless your religion stops you from having sex before marriage, i believe you must sample before you buy...How about if you are not compatible in the bedroom?
Even if you guys don't have sex, you should at least explore each others bodies before and see how it makes you feel, least that will give you an indication of the electricity between you..
God i must stop, turning myself on....
Yes i think he is genuine, but get your friend to explore first to ensure she is happy with his equipment...

not all guys just want to have sex some actually want love just like girls do. although me personally i wouldn't wait till marriage unless its what my girlfriend wanted id be more inclined to wait till were both ready for it.
PS some guys can get set back if there girlfriend is still a virgin.

It's probably his beliefs and he's sticking to them. Great for him, no godd for your gf who wants some!! - Unless she marries him I don't think he will do the deed lol.. What a risk on the wedding night - Imagine if he's hung like a gnat and is a cr.p sh.g!!!!!

So did she approach him about sleeping together, I have had this happen to me and for some reason it's a turn off, I prefer it to happen naturally rather than discussing it previously as morals should already have been discussed previously.

Now i know i am not the only one. If i have real feelings for a woman i want to wait. It's sweeter that way.
