Huh... if you don't live it, then in my opinion you had no change of heart in the first place. If you are truly saved, you will WANT to live for Jesus. There should be no confusion as to whether a person is a Christian or not - it should be obvious.

It an important point you make. What does it mean to accept or profess. These day with political correct language and spin doctors, words have become very shallow in their meaning or impact on a persons actions. Remember the parable of the man with two son, one said he would not do as he was asked but then later did it. The other did the opposite. Of course it is the one who does the father will who is proclaimed righteous. So professing Christ as your saviour is not a statement of belief, it is a life based on the example of Christ, we will be known by our actions.
The Gospel is clear, you must take up his Cross everyday, suffer a little each day for the sake of your belief. If a spouse love his partner, that love will be shown every day including the sacrifice of being faithful in heart and mind.
So you can not continue your old life, you let Christ's kingship over your life lead your life. For many, I am afraid, our Christianity is too often, little more than a bumper sticker.

There is no single answer to this question. The beliefs and requirements for salvation vary from religion to religion. For example, Jewish religion does not acknowledge Jesus as an equal to God. If you read the book the Divine Comedy, the souls that end up suffering eternally in hell are those who committed one of the seven cardinal sins; greed, envy, gluttony, wraith, lust, and sloth. Others believe that people who do not commit horrible sins, while at the same time, do not have a relationship with Jesus, end up in purgatory- neither heaven or hell. It is also likely that hell exists, then the souls sent there refused to repent. It's also questionable if a soul sent to hell can ever ascend to heaven, although it is commonly thought that souls in purgatory can.

No way,Let everyone who names [himself by] the name of the Lord should give up all iniquity says the Bible. Though he accepts Jesus as his personal saviour, he has to repent of his own sins to escape hell.He should be a new creation in christ and get rid of his old sinful nature.

Hi there. Yes it is more than enough to say that Jesus Christ is Lord. That will get you into heaven for sure, no questions asked. I try to say it once a week just to make a bit of a habit of it. I've heard that if you say it three times in a row while looking into a mirror that you will see Jesus (young version) and he will wink at you! I like to say it while I'm at work at the down town abortion clinic.

One cannot say he confesses Christ Jesus when he has not repented of his sins, that will be a fake confession. You see in acts, speech and thoughts those who have truelly or those who are truly confessing Christ.God cannot be mocked. No one can escape hell without repenting from their sins. Whether ppl believe this or not it is settled.

No, in order to even be able to accept Jesus as your savior, you must be born again and that is called salvation through Jesus Christ and this is where repenting your sins comes in at. Please look at this page. It will tell you how to escape hell.

Nope, you can not.
Secondly, Jesus Christ and Almighty God read the hearts and minds of people, they KNOW, just as you do, if you are sincere of heart or just blathering.

Yes. You can drop the whole idea of "sin" and accept your own karma. That is, what you do returns to you, one way or another. We witches use the rule that it returns three-fold, but that's just an arbitrary figure, really. It can return ten-fold at times. If you do good, that's wonderful. If you do harm, the multiplication can kill you.
