Virtual Taupe if you wanna be elegant
Beguiling Mauve if you wanna be romantic
Quixotic Plum if you wanna be exotic

Bright/light colors will make a small room look bigger...

I think it all depends on:
1) what colors you like
2) what kind of atmosphere do you want to create for your room
3) what are the colors of your furniture

Enjoy the painting~

Not a big fan of mauves in general but I think this one is the right value you should be looking for. I prefer the tone of the plum though, its a bit richer but may be too dark for a windowless room.

What about Mysterious Mauve (SW 6262). Its on the same swatch card as Quixotic plum but is a few shades lighter and would make the room a bit bigger (remember everything get darker once you put it on the walls!) If you wanted you could accent one or two walls with Exclusive Plum (6263) which is also on that color card but is darker than SW 6262. That would be lovely!

The same I think can be said for the Taupe. Maybe you should use that on one or two walls and use Tony Taupe (SW 7038) on the rest to keep the room a big lighter.

Hope this helps! Good luck and happy painting!

I am hooked on beige and sage. It might be an alternative idea.. with the brushed nickel accessories and fixtures.. it looks really classy. Maybe add some sand and shells in a tall vase?? Go to Pottery Barn to get inspired with their beachy theme.
