Sure you will be allowed to travel with the portable dvd player, you just won't be able to use during takeoff and landings, but the flight attendants will let you know when it is ok to use. Hope this helps and have a great trip!

OK. You can but as long as the DVD player is NOT on @ taxi, takeoff and landing. The only problem is that there is nothing to plug it into (Power).

I think so. Only cell phones are to be switched off and if needed, she can switch it off while taking off and landing. Other time, when people can work on their lap tops, why can't she enjoy the DVDs?

yes. as long as it doesn't have bluetooth or anything that could interfere with the airplanes computers. The airport should have a sign somewhere telling you the terms and conditions for electronics on planes.

well, you can take anything on an aeroplane exept for flammable liquids, objects that are dangerous, spray cans and of course, drugs

they will do an announcement over the tannoy on take off and landing to say to turn all elec. equipment off, but whilst in the air its fine.
