First, you cant pardon someone who hasnt been convicted of anything. Second, Scooter did not receive a pardon, he had his sentence reduced. Third, why would we want to pardon and/or release P.O.W.'s, when we havent even won the war yet? Fourth, "Bush" is spelled with a capital "B". Fifth, as a sidebar, I honestly wonder why Bush hasnt simply passed an executive order effectively "disbanding" the democrat party, and charging them with racketeering under the Rico Act, for attempting to sabotage our efforts to win this war by offering aid and comfort to the enemy. The main reason I have no faith left in Democracy or the Republic is because of people like you. The sooner we can re-organize the United states into an official Imperial system of government the better off we will all be, and soothsayers like you will have faded into a dim memory of a bygone era.

First, the prisoners have not been charged or convicted. You cannot be pardoned if you have not been convicted.

Second, Scooter was not given a pardon...his sentence was commuted.

Third, do you really see an accurate parallel between Scooter and the prisoners in Gitmo?

You are obviously a democratic liberal and don"t pay attention to the FACTS! Bush did not pardon Libby, he only commuted his sentence.Quite unlike the wholesale pardons the Bill Clinton gave in his final days.

There are no "POW's" at Gitmo! Learn the difference between POW's and EPW's before you spout your Lib rants.

Ya, we should pardon them....send them back to Afghanistan....and this time kill them or turn them over to some warlord who will give them some hometown justice, instead of taking them prisoner.....

Honestly, what else do you do with them?

To be pardoned, you must be charged.

GITMO residents haven't been officially charged.
