i think she needs air to breathe. since she had been with you for some years, she thinks it is time for her to be independent and prove to you that she can stand alone on her own. the best thing to do is talk to her, tell her the disadvantages and the things you don't like when her job is far from home. also, i think she might be a little pressured in your house, so try to lessen the stress factors.

Let her know the convenience like she can have more sleep in the morning and don't have rush to work especially during rush period. Save alot of time traveling on the road. And also in case of emergency she can get home on time. Tell her she is not going to loose out anything. Instead gain in time and money.

Give her reasons to stay!
Don't say don't go, have her choose to stay on her own accord. You know your daughter best, so you know how to make her stay. If the terms are unreasonable, then accept her decision to go away and support it. Let her learn her lessons on her own if she can't realize what she has now. Don't do everything for her, and don't give her too much money either. Let her work hard and learn from her own experiences.

Good luck with that one. You know how it go's. They grow up and leave. Just support her in every way and express that you would love for her to work close to home.
