On your payslips or anything you have received from the tax office such as P60 etc.

P60, payslips, your employer's payroll dept.
You can try HMRC but I think they would want to put it in writing in case you are someone pretending to be you.

If you are not employed and on benefit your paying office will have it. it wiil also be on any correspondence you have from them. If it is not on your payslip (and it should be ) ask your employer

(ANS) you could also contact the "inland revenue" or "dept of work & pensions" both of these government departments should know or be able to tell you what your NI number is.
