It's not what you should do, it's what you want to do. The things you said are wait and see or find another girl.(though the second one seems a little shallow, but hey I'm not you right)

It's very understandable to why she wants to keep things slow you know that. Her family comforts her because she trust them without a doubt that's why she would rather spend time with them. If you want to be with her more open yourself up completely and let her know you won't harm her or let anything else do so no matter what. You have to gain her trust and make her feel completely safe because of those prior past experiences. If you can't handle this your probably not good enough for this girls pain.

Do what you want and what feels right.

Well if you really like her, then it shouldn't be a problem to wait. I know it can get hard, but until you've been in her shoes you'll never actually know how hard it is to come from an abusive relationship and let yourself become open to the chances of it happening again. If you like her, and respect her then you may have to be willing to put quite some time into this. and if you're not willing to do so, then I would suggest moving on before you hurt yourself, and her alike.

That's always a tough situation. If you're ready to care about this girl on a more serious level and deal with the responsibility of respecting her and the baggage that could bring into a relationship then yes you should do it. You could be really good for her to show how a relationship is supposed to be like. However if you just want something casual or a hit it n quit it thing, you'd just be causing her more harm. I think you should be concerned about what you're ready for and what's best for her.

Why can't you do both? Until you are in an EXCLUSIVE relationship with her, it's fine to date others. So continue to see her when you can, but see other people too. TELL her you are seeing others, though. It might actually relieve her.

She might need some time, a long time, to decide to get into another relationship. It's up to you whether or not you want to wait.

i think if you really like this girl you will give her time and wait until she is ready but if she is giving you the cold shoulder why don't you ask her whats going on between us? get her opinion on the subject 1st then decide what your going to do!!

keep her as an option but keep looking. You can date more than one person. just be honest and don't try to hide it.
